By creating an account or playing The Worst MMO at theworstmmo.com (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't play.
1. The Service
The Worst MMO is a free, browser-based multiplayer game provided "as is" and "as available", with no guarantee of uptime, balance, or that anything works the way you hoped. It is called The Worst MMO. Please manage your expectations accordingly.
2. Your account
- You're responsible for activity under your name and for keeping your password safe.
- One account is one identity. Don't impersonate others or pick names that are hateful, illegal, or infringing.
- We can suspend or remove accounts that break these Terms.
3. Fair play
Don't do the obvious bad stuff, including:
- Cheating, botting, automating input, or exploiting bugs instead of reporting them.
- Attacking the servers (DDoS, scraping, reverse-engineering the protocol to gain an unfair edge).
- Harassing, threatening, or abusing other players in chat or otherwise.
4. Virtual items & progress
Resources, buildings, toons, dungeon clears and leaderboard scores are virtual, have no real-world monetary value, and are not your property. The game is in active development: World One may be reset or wiped, and features may change or disappear at any time.
5. Intellectual property
The game, its name, content and code are owned by The Worst MMO. You get a personal, non-exclusive, revocable licence to play. Don't copy, resell, or pass the game off as your own.
6. Termination
You may stop playing anytime. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service and its players.
7. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, lost progress, or lost time arising from playing a game literally branded as the worst.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms; continued play after changes means you accept them. We'll update the date above.
